These are so cool. I got them as party favors, props for a group of state park naturalists when we have our annual retreat. They are America's largest acorn, and they're not common in DC. Kids' eyes pop when you take one of these out of your backpack on a nature walk!

Used it for a costume, and it was so pretty. I only wished it had a comb or clip attached to it so it can be more secure on the head.
